| The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) Emergency Communications Technicians (ECTs) assist the Police and Fire Departments for Reagan National Airport, Dulles International Airport and the Dulles Toll Road. Equipped with the latest technology, our Emergency Communications Technicians are more capable than ever to receive emergency calls and dispatch police, fire, and emergency medical support whenever they are needed.

Emergency Communications Technicians(ECTs) also monitor the location of emergency services personnel from both airports emergency services departments. These workers dispatch the appropriate type and number of units in response to calls for assistance. All emergency calls go to the Communications Center, where a MWAA Emergency Communications Technician handles the call directly or transfers it to the appropriate jurisdiction. |
