Upcoming Insurance Program Changes
Effective June 1, 2013, the Airports Authority will discontinue its Owner Controlled Wrap-up Insurance Program (OCWIP) and will be adopting an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP). It is anticipated that the only changes will be with regard to (1) automobile liability and (2) workers compensation and employers liability coverage, which will not be provided under the OCIP. Contractors and subcontractors will be responsible to provide and maintain their own automobile liability, and workers compensation and employers liability insurance policies. The specifics of the OCIP will be issued as a change to affected contracts, effective June 1, 2013; specific documentation requirements for reimbursement of the automobile liability, and workers compensation and employers liability premium will be provided to affected contractors at that time. The reasonable increase in premium costs associated with the change from OCWIP to OCIP may be reimbursable upon receipt of supporting documentation. Affected contractors are responsible for notifying all subcontractors of this change and for obtaining all necessary supporting documentation.
Note: This change only affects those contractors who perform onsite work beyond June 1, 2013. |

RFP 7-13-C005: Traffic and Revenue Study, Dulles Toll Road

Description: The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform all duties required by the Dulles Corridor Enterprise Master Trust Agreement and Supplemental Agreements, to include: develop traffic and revenue project for the existing Dulles Toll Road system, Dulles Airport Access Highway and future road improvement analysis, prepare evaluations, studies and opinions, prepare and maintain traffic modeling tools to recommend toll rates and periodic adjustments. |

Work may include providing A/E staff to augment the Design Department and tasks will range from broad conceptual studies, pre-design analysis up through creation of design and contract documents.
