NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY

RONALD REAGAN WASHINGTON NATIONAL AIRPORT

FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND
FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT FOR
RIVER RESCUE NORTH BOATHOUSE RELOCATION

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) proposes to demolish the current North Boathouse at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and construct a replacement facility between the extended centerlines of Runways 4-22 and 15-33.  The replacement boathouse will meet operational needs, reduce maintenance costs, and improve safety and security.

In conformance with the provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act, MWAA has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA).  After careful consideration of the information contained in the Final EA, the FAA has determined that significant environmental effects will not result from the proposed action.  Therefore, the FAA has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI).

Beginning November 3, 2010, the Final EA and FONSI will be available for public review during business hours at the following locations: Arlington County Central Library, 1015 N.
