Upcoming Opportunities - Major Construction and Design
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority anticipates issuing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or Requests for Qualifications Information (RFQIs) for the following major Construction and Design projects throughout 2013. Please note that this is not necessarily a complete list of projects that will be issued during this time period, and all dates are estimates and subject to change at any time.
First Quarter 2013
Historic Air Traffic Control Tower Exterior Rehabilitation, Dulles Airport

Description: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision for the exterior rehabilitation of the historic air traffic control tower at Washington Dulles International Airport. Work includes temporary relocation of roof communication equipment, abatement of roofing/cladding hazardous materials, replacement of membrane roofing system, cleaning of concrete shaft, restoration of concrete control joints and miscellaneous repairs/restoration of exterior metal cladding. |
