Welcome to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Student Program: A Developmental Experience for Students

On behalf of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, I would like to welcome you to our Student Web Page, Taking Flight: From Academia to the Airports. Our goal is to hire diverse students with solid academic backgrounds and place them in positions that allow development or refinement of job skills while maximizing their exposure to careers in airport operations and management. On the Student Web Page you will find student program information and resources as well as testimonials from our students and hiring managers. As Manager of the Student Program, I want to emphasize the value I believe young adults bring to the Airports Authority.

The goal of the Student Program is to provide you with a substantive experience that will facilitate both career preparation and personal growth while working in a cutting edge Airport environment. Students gain work experience at Reagan National and Dulles International Airports, the Corporate Office Building, Dulles Toll Road Office and Rail Office.
