Project Summary:
The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to provide, install and connect for correct operation a new exterior electrical 5Kvolt to 480/277volt double ended electrical substation at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The substation will include two 5Kvolt switches, two 5Kvolt to 480/277volt transformers and switchgear line up with main-tie-main circuit breakers with closed transition switching. Additionally the Contractor shall provide, install and connect for correct operation electrical and communications ductbanks, foundations, 5Kvolt feeders, 480volt feeders and grounding.
LDBE Requirement:
This RFP has a 60% Local Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (LDBE) participation requirement and a 25% Voluntary MBE/WBE goal. Firms located within a 100-mile radius and whose 3 year average gross receipts, including all affiliates, do not exceed the size standard(s) below are eligible for consideration.
