The MWAA PD regularly provides its officers with force-on-force training classes using special ammunition, weapons and safety gear. The police department designed a special facility that allows its officers to safely conduct realistic training in a setting that closely replicates a wide range of patrol environments and calls for service. The officers of the MWAA PD participate in scenario-based drills and exercises to continually enhance their tactical skills, awareness, and decision-making in law enforcement.
