Project Summary:
The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to supply and install redundant pressure control valves in the Dedicated Fire System at Washington Dulles International Airport to remediate system-wide pressure excursions. The project includes earthwork, excavation, utility piping modification, precast concrete vault installation, roadway patching, and limited electrical, instrumentation and controls. Also included are system calibration of existing fire pump controllers for proper sequence operation.
LDBE Requirement:
This solicitation has a 70% Local Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (LDBE) participation requirement and a 25% Voluntary MBE/WBE goal. Firms located within a 100-mile radius and whose 3 year average gross receipts, including all affiliates, do not exceed the size standard(s) below are eligible for consideration.
