In addition to smoking areas outside of the Main Terminal, we also offer smoking lounges in each concourse:

Smoking is permitted in designated areas only.
Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Regulations, Virginia Indoor Clean Air Act, Va. Code Section 15.2-2820 et seq; and Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code.
Violations of the Virginia Indoor Clean Air Act are punishable by a civil penalty of $25.00. This smoking policy shall be enforced by the Airport Police and Fire Code Enforcement Division personnel.
