RFP-21-22745: Baggage Handling Systems High Level Controller Software and Hardware Replacement, IAD UPDATED
Description: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision to install a new high-level controller for the baggage handling systems at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). The Authority will provide the required servers, workstations, networking equipment, operating systems, and management applications. All software and hardware will meet the MWAA Office of Technology Standards. The existing High-Level Control System (HLCS) shall be replaced with a new, industry standard HLSC. The existing HLSC software shall not be ported to new hardware – all software shall be new, and of the latest revision offered by the HLSC Supplier. In addition, there will be a remote viewing area in Airport Operations Center. The high-level controller be operating within a VMware virtual server environment. All servers will be located off site.

Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project Opportunities

Project Overview - Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project

Phase One of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project constructed the new Metrorail Silver Line from the East Falls Church station on the Orange Line, through Tysons Corner and on to Wiehle Avenue in Reston. Phase Two will continue the line to Dulles International Airport and into Loudoun County.

Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project - Phase Two

Capital Rail Constructors, a joint venture of Clark Construction Group and Kiewit Infrastructure South, is the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority's design-build contractor for Phase Two of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project, which will build 11.4 miles of track and six stations in Fairfax and Loudoun counties. Construction of Phase Two began in 2013 and will continue through 2018.
